Shipping policy
Where we deliver
We deliver anywhere in Lebanon. We do not ship outside Lebanon yet. If you want Sous Chef abroad, email us and we will tell you when that changes.
What delivery costs
Standard delivery is $3.00 on any order.
Delivery is free on orders of $42.00 or more, which is the price of the six bottle Full Range. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, so you do not need a code.
When it arrives
We pack orders within one to two business days. Delivery then usually takes one to two business days in Beirut and Metn, and two to four business days elsewhere in Lebanon.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Public holidays and weather can add a day.
How we pack
Every bottle is glass, so orders are wrapped individually and boxed. Our sauces ship at room temperature and do not need refrigeration in transit. Refrigerate after opening.
Merch
Aprons and other merch ship on exactly the same terms as the sauces: same $3.00 standard delivery, same free delivery at $42.00, same timeframes. There is no separate merch rate.
Merch counts towards the $42.00 free delivery threshold like anything else, so an order that mixes bottles and merch reaches free delivery on the combined total.
If an order contains both merch and sauces, it ships together in one parcel. If a merch item is out of stock we will contact you rather than split the order without asking.
Digital items
The Sous Chef cookbook is a PDF. It is delivered by email and nothing is posted, so it adds no delivery cost and needs no address.
If something goes wrong
If a bottle arrives broken or leaking, or the order is wrong, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at jessica@sous-chef.co with your order number and a photo. We will replace or refund it in full, delivery included, at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the detail.
Delivery address
Please check your address and phone number before you order. If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody could be reached, we may need to charge delivery again to resend it.
